Nearby beaches include Rawai Beach, Nai Harn Beach and Freedom Beach. The clean white sand and clear water off Nai Harn Beach make it the most popular of the three.

SHOPPING

The Rawai shopping experience is varied and caters to a wide range of tastes and budgets. Apart from a variety of souvenir shops, there are supermarkets stocking imported international brands and fresh produce nearby such as Villa Market and Tesco Lotus store, as well as a number of fresh markets popular with locals. The nearby fisherman's village is also the best place on the island to select fresh seafood from the sea gypsies' catch of the day.

Chalong Pier extends into Chalong Bay, making it accessible to boats ferrying people to nearby islands as well as being a set-off point for speedboat tours to tourist islands such as Phi phi, Koh Maya and Koh Kai. The pier is a great place to take an evening walk to get a moonlit view of the surrounding islands.
